This drilling is conducted for the main purpose of determining
rock and soil characteristics. These are mainly carried out on
construction sites.
Construction and foundation drilling:
This type of drilling is used to make holes for rock bolting,
piers and contiguous piers for areas that include construction
sites around cities and towns.
Water well drilling:
Private contractors carry out this type of drilling in rural areas.
